The Throttle By Wire (TBW) system offers five riding modes (Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel, User) for tailored performance. A 6-speed transmission with an assist/slipper clutch ensures smooth shifts, while the Vortex flow intake and tuned exhaust deliver strong, characterful performance.
DESIGN & COMFORT
The Transalp’s lightweight steel diamond frame weighs just 463 lbs (wet), with a 61.4-inch wheelbase and 33.4-inch seat height (optional 32.3-inch low seat) for confident handling. Its redesigned front end, inspired by the Africa Twin, features a dual LED projector headlight and a Durabio™ bioengineered windshield for enhanced aerodynamics and wind protection. Sleek fairing and a central aero duct reduce buffeting, ensuring comfort on long rides.
