POWER & PERFORMANCE
The Kodiak 700 EPS XT-R is powered by a torquey 686cc liquid-cooled SOHC 4-stroke engine with Yamaha Fuel Injection (YFI) for consistent performance in all conditions. Tuned for smooth low-RPM cruising and strong midrange torque, it delivers impressive pulling power for tough jobs or trails.


TRANSMISSION & DRIVETRAIN
Yamaha’s industry-leading Ultramatic® CVT transmission features a gated shifter, dual-range (Hi/Lo) drive, reverse, and natural all-wheel engine braking for confidence-inspiring control. The On-Command® 4WD system lets you switch between 2WD, limited-slip 4WD, and fully locked differential 4WD with an override button for maximum RPM in tough spots.


CHASSIS & HANDLING
Speed-sensitive Electric Power Steering (EPS) reduces fatigue and enhances precision. Independent double wishbone suspension provides 7.1 inches front travel and 9.1 inches rear, with performance shocks, wide-arc A-arms, anti-sway bar, and 10.8 inches of ground clearance for superior rough-terrain capability. Full-body skid plates protect vital components.


XT-R FEATURES
The premium XT-R edition includes a factory-installed 2,500-lb WARN® winch, aggressive tires on aluminum wheels, painted plastics, and exclusive graphics. Hydraulic disc brakes ensure strong stopping power, while the compact chassis offers agile handling in tight spaces.
